In Modern Tribe, one of our mission is to express the struggles that endanger tribes around the world are facing. As a "Culturally Aware" brand, we believe it is very important to talk about various indigenous groups around the world, and help them preserve their culture. Many endangered tribes around the world are struggling with keeping their land. Tribes in Amazon are forced out of their land by illegal loggers. Tribes in Africa? they are forced out of their ancestor's land by big corporations who made tribal land in to game hunting grounds. Many tribes like Maasai tribe are now homeless do to game hunters. Maasai tribe moves their cattle around. Their life style is to herd their cattle one place to another every season. By doing this they produce milk and meat from the cow. This was their lifestyle, but not anymore. Their government made the tribal members to settle in to one area, grow crops and get jobs in the city. Do to this changes, their culture, their tribe identity are shaken and endangered. The figure on this design is a Maasai tribal man. Standing guard looking and protecting their land. We wish to bring out their struggle with this design. We want our audience to listen and read about their struggle.
