We're excited to release our newest design, a collaboration between Fish Martinez a member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon.
Fish Martinez is a infant/wobbler/toddler teacher by day & hip-hop artist at night. Fish is a vocal leader for the tribe.
He performs in native regalia and writes lyrics about family, the Willamette Valley, his tribe's history, and how he wants to help save the planet.
Fish is a great example of a role model, encouraging people to stand up and speak for their rights.
The design includes elements from the Siletz culture. The fish graphic was contributed by James Florendo, Fish's uncle.
The Fish design has a Pow-wow style roach with Eagle feather to represent his first passion in life, as a Pow-wow dancer.
We want to be able to give back to the Siletz Tribe. After all this is all about building the Modern Tribe.
5% of sales for this design will go to the Siletz Tribe Youth Service Program.
